Silk suffered a life
threatening adverse reaction to Deramaxx/Deracoxib, and although she
survived the initial adverse reaction it was not without permanent damage
to her heart, liver and kidneys.
***Deramaxx/Deracoxib
is considered a "Sulfa-Drug"***
Because, I feel, it is important for others to be
able to make informed choices PRIOR to giving
Deramaxx to
their beloved dogs I have set up a page of
Deramaxx informational links.
You will, also, find links to
stories from owners of beloved dogs, who were unable to make
it through their Deramaxx reactions, and died. This is
information that you will not find within the drug's insert.
BE INFORMED, YOU ARE YOUR DOG'S BEST ADVOCATE!
A little
about the Doberman...
The Doberman is a
special breed! Compassionately, they are referred to by the Doberman
community as the "Velcro" dogs...they belong at your side, and inside or
wherever their special person happens to be at any given time. The
Doberman excels when treated as an important member of the family.
Unfortunately, due to
irresponsible owners, the Doberman has been inaccurately labeled a vicious
dog by some of the general public. To the contrary, the Doberman is a
sweet, loyal, protective and an intelligent breed.
I hope you enjoy your
visit, and that you will find the articles, information and links within
my site educational.
